Meet Captain Franky. With more than 45 years of sailing experience, of which up to 35 years in the Greek sailing area, he knows better than anyone where the most beautiful bays and beaches can be found. In order to share his passion for the sea and sailing with others, Frank created BlueWaterSailing.
Frank has been active in Asia this winter and has been involved in the restoration of a Classic Crand Banks Gaff schooner of 38 meters in Phuket.
This captain understands his trade and knows his two ships, Omiros and Osiros always able to navigate the waves.

Julia is one of the few female skippers in the Dodecanese. So she really knows how to stand her ground. For her, sailing is the optimal mix between effort and relaxation. She really comes to rest on and near the water.
She loves to make delicious dishes from the galley and because of her energetic personality she is always in for a dance on deck. If she is not on board of the Omiros or Osiris, she arranges all backoffice activities for BlueWaterSailing.

Meet our second female skipper, Lotte.
Lotte makes up part of our BlueWaterSailing history, because her parents were skippers for BlueWaterSailing many years ago. Therefore it comes as no surprise that Lotte was already on the water at a young age, and has decided to make a career out of her passion, sailing. She has sailed many miles in the past years, including twice the Atlantic crossing. Lotte is looking forward to meeting you and ensuring that you will have an amazing time abroad our boat.

Joren completes our sailing couple. Joren is also a full skipper and will share the responsibilities on board together with Lotte. In the Netherlands Joren has given sailing lessons for years, skippered a Tjalk and sailed a lot of competitions. Last year he moved to Mallorca together with Lotte to fully focus on sailing. From Mallorca they sailed, among other things, to the Canarian and Cape Verde islands. Their next chapter will be Greece!

2019 is going to be the third season that John is skippering for us. His passion for sailing once started with small boats and surfing and from there, it only became bigger and bigger like crossing an ocean. In the Netherlands he likes to sail with his own sailing boat and he sometimes participates in competitions.

This season Miranda is joining our BlueWaterSailing crew as hostess on our Osiris. She will team up with John, to ensure you have everything needed to enjoy an amazing vacation.
After working 10 year in disabled care, Miranda quit her job to follow her passion for sailing and love (John). Next to taking care of all your culinary needs, Miranda loves being active and seeking out the best spots on the islands for you to discover.
